A common faith instills a need to pray together, come together and rely on his Word. "Brethern love one another as I have loved you. That's The Beautiful Cornerstone motto.

Faith & Founders
The Beautiful Cornerstone prayer, wedding & event center is a new addition to the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Combining what the owners, Earl & Donna Scott see as a natural blend: prayer, weddings, church and family events.
As a prayer center it's natural for ministers to pray and to pray a lot, say the Scotts who are ordained ministers. "We invite the public to join us for what we call, A Time for Prayer, every Wednesday at noon at
The Beautiful. We also invite a look at our events calendar to keep up with other inspirational and enrichment events we will offer ," says Mrs Scott.
Inspiration Behind the NameThe name Beautiful Cornerstone is a tribute to their true CEO, say the Scotts, "who is the chief Cornerstone and is all together lovely according to the holy scriptures. We believe the Lord put this endeavor into our hearts to be a blessing to many who are looking for a nice place that is beautiful to have a lovely affordable and classy event," they say.
"Every beautiful ornament and piece of furniture has been prayerfully selected to make events memorable, inspirational and beautiful," says Donna. "We've chose many of the decorative effects: flowers, colors and accents to honor His Name. There are lillies, roses and evergreen shrubs in the front courtyard -- which also offer many beautiful photo opportunities.
Weddings / Events
Weddings are a focal point of
The Beautiful -- which is dressed at all times for a marriage ceremony at short notice. So there are wedding ceremony packages as low as $395 for young couple who might otherwise just go to the courthouse.
Professionalism
Both the Scotts have professional backgrounds in hospitality and event planning. They founded and operated Great Scott Events in 1994 in Dallas, Texas. There for five years they handled events for major Fortune 100 companies, non profits and private individuals. Earl Scott was head of the Hotel/Motel Restaurant management department at the former Beaufort Technical College in the mid- 80's and worked in restaurant management and hospitality for many years.
After a five-year stent with Meeting Planners International, Donna left and started the independent planning business honing her skills with top corporations and in the social arena.
